Furnace Procedures Include:
- Remove clean & re-install the main fan motor assembly to ensure peak operating performance
- Clean the furnace cabinet. inside and out.
- Inspect / lubricate fan motor
- Clean the condensation drain line assembly to prevent water damage within the furnace and home
- Inspect and secure all control and line voltage electrical connections to prevent shorting or grounding
- Visually inspect the heat exchangers for cracks or deterioration caused by overheating
- Inspect and clean the corrosion and build-up of each gas burner and orifice
- Measure fan motor amp draw and voltage with reference to factory specs for signs of wear or deterioration
- Test the fan motor compartment emergency safety switch
- Clean inside of furnace of debris, insects, rodents, etc. that can cause electrical failure
- Test flame rollout switches for proper and safe operation.
- Inspect and verify proper operation of safety shut-off switch
- Measure resistance of thermocouple to insure proper operation and clean off corrosion/build up
- Replace standard 1" return air filter
- Inspect / lubricate draft inducer motor
Air conditioner Procedures Include:
- Clean outdoor condensing coil with environmentally safe solution
- Inspect refrigerant tubing connections and solder joins for signs of leaks or wear from normal vibration and operation
- Measure & record the outdoor, indoor return air, supply air, and the temperature drop settings with reference to factory specs to insure efficient operation
- Inspect / lubricate fan condensing motor
- Measure refrigerant pressure on both high and low sides of compressor to insure peak operating performance - notify owner of any inadequate pressure readings
- Apply protective coating
- Inspect and verify refrigerant pressure safeties are operating according to factory specifications
- Clean inside of air conditioner of debris, leaves, insects, rodents, etc. that cause electrical failures.
- Clean indoor evaporator coil
- Clean evaporator drain pan, check for possible cracks or corrosion
- Replace standard 1" return air filter
